Make The Most Of Free-Flowing Veuve Clicquot At This Jaw-Dropping Perth Brunch

If you’re missing the fancy bottomless brunches of Singapore and New York, it’s time to book yourself in for brunch at Songbird at The Ritz-Carlton Perth

Sitting pretty on the fifth floor of the hotel, Songbird boasts unbeatable views of the Swan River—not to mention Elizabeth Quay and Kings Park—but it’s not only the view that’s beautiful. Every last part of the indoor-outdoor venue is stunning, from the infinity pool right down to their signature songbird glasses.

It quickly became the go-to spot for Friday night drinks in the CBD, but now Songbird has turned its attention to Sunday brunch and we are pumped.

Brunch at Songbird

The three-hour brunch session comes complete with a live seafood station and BBQ station, not to mention canapes and a selection of sweets that the wait staff bring right to your table. The menu was designed by none other than Jed Gerrard himself and, as always, the produce is all local and all amazing. Think Shark Bay scallops with yuzu koshu, fluffy house-made crumpets topped with smoked local fish and herbs, Wagyu beef sandwiches, potato pikelets topped with leg ham and quail eggs and a twice-cooked hen’s egg with chilli caramel that will blow your mind.

If you like to get amongst the action, you can go up and get your own food, but if you’re just there to sit back and relax, order a drink and let a waiter know what you’re after—they’ll bring it straight to your table and treat you like the royalty you are.

Speaking of drinks, you’ve got a couple of choices, but we’d recommend going all out with the Veuve Clicquot package which comes complete with three hours of free-flowing Veuve Clicquot, Cape Mentelle wines and Belvedere cocktails. It’s not a cheap date, but when you consider the three-hours of bottomless Veuve Clicquot Rose, it’s easy to justify the decision.

If you can tear yourself away from the Veuve for just a minute, the Bloody Mary is the best way to start your day, but we’re also pretty partial to the Polish Mule and the Belvedere Sour. Of course, you can’t leave without trying the Signature Songbird—elderflower, lychee and mint served in their songbird shaped glasses.

If you’re the designated driver, not to worry, there’s a mocktail package too and no matter what you choose, you can drink as much Seven Seas tea, Offshoot coffee, juice and soft drinks as your heart desires.

Do yourself a favour and try to nab a table outside on a bright sunny morning—there’s really no better way to celebrate a Sunday.
