If there’s one antidote to winter, it’s soup. Aus Street Food knows this, which is why they’re throwing a delicious Soup Fest at Elizabeth Quay.
Popping up during Cosy at The Quay, the festival is heating up on Saturday 20 July and punters can expect flavours from all over the world.
There’s the regulars, like ramen, pho, tom yum and French onion, and some more inventive options like the bratwurst soup, creamy chicken gnocchi soup and Indian dal shorba. If you prefer the classics, there’s even going to be steaming bowls of pea and ham ready for you to stick your spoon into from the comforting confines of the heated dining hall that’s popping up on the Lizzy Quay bridge.
Along with the maker’s market, live music, games and ice skating rink that are all part of Cosy at The Quay, Soup Fest makes for the best excuse to rug up and get out of the house this winter. And just to make the offer even more tempting, for every soup that’s sold during the festival, Aus Street Food will donate a bowl of soup to the homeless. Dining and doing good, we like the sound of that!
