Drop everything—it’s time to put those keyboard warrior thumbs of yours to the test and rally your mates together for this weekend’s WA Beer and Beef Festival. This is not a drill, we repeat, this is not a drill.
Gracing Perth’s scene once again, but this time among the shady surrounds of Burswood Park, the Festival will take place over two jam-packed days that will ooze the best beer and meat-packed foodie delights that the city has to offer.
Keep your eyes peeled for the Locale Kitchen’s next-level poutine’s (if you don’t know what that is, it’s basically gourmet loaded fries), Smokies Southern Bar-B-Que’s rub-injected meats and Gourmet Poshdog’s brioche encased homemade dogs.
Brace yourself for the abundance of beer on show, with 18 breweries setting up tent, featuring the likes of some of our tried and true favourites: Little Creatures, Eagle Bay Brewing, Gage Roads and Feral Brewing Co.
As you drink back a cold one and fill your gut to the brim with juicy brisket, there will be art installations, music and roving entertainment (think stilt walkers, giant bubble activities, fire performers and face painters) to keep the good vibes going—promising what could potentially be your most deliciously saucy and fun-filled weekend of the year.
