The Dungeon Escape Room

Opening for a short time not a long time (this room will change come November 4), The Dungeon is Red Lock Escape Rooms' newest space and it’s freaky! Perfect to undertake with a small group, you’ll get 60 minutes to find your way out of Greta Robinson’s dark dungeon, where she holds people captive before turning them into stew. Very few visitors have lived to tell the tale, so if you’re up for a challenge this Halloween, this is it.

Halloween Speed Dating

If you’re single and one of those people that won’t stand for celebrating Halloween on any day except October 31, then this one-of-a-kind speed dating event is for you. Dress up in costume and head to The Post Office for a night of random mini dates, where you’ll be speeding through getting to know new people, without really knowing what they look like under that spooky outfit. It’s fun and casual, and if you have no luck, you can always stick around and drink away your sorrows at the afterparty from 9pm.

Rocky Horror Halloween Screening

If getting your fright on with a box of popcorn is your thing, then you’ll be glad to know that Event Cinemas is hosting a spooky movie screening this Halloween on the Sunshine Coast. Showing the 1975 cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, get ready for the ultimate time warp with this sci-fi slash musical slash comedy film. Come dressed as your favourite character and be prepared not to just sit back and relax—all tickets come with a party bag with instructions on how to get involved in the night.

Grab the family and meet the local witches, ghouls and spooks that will be roaming the park at night. Plus, there’s a giant trick or treat happening for the kids, with half a tonne of lollies up for grabs. Sugar high guaranteed.
