Bust out the vampire fangs and the fake blood, it’s that time of year again!

If you’re looking for ways to get a little freaky this scary season—beyond the creepy pumpkins and horror movie Netflix binges—then check out our list of the best events for Halloween on the Sunshine Coast.

The Dungeon Escape Room

Noosa

Opening for a short time not a long time (this room will change come November 4), The Dungeon is Red Lock Escape Rooms' newest space and it’s freaky! Perfect to undertake with a small group, you’ll get 60 minutes to find your way out of Greta Robinson’s dark dungeon, where she holds people captive before turning them into stew. Very few visitors have lived to tell the tale, so if you’re up for a challenge this Halloween, this is it.
When: Now until November 4
Where: Shop 4, 28 Sunshine Beach Road, Noosa Heads
Cost: $35

Halloween Speed Dating

Dress up in costume and head to The Post Office for a night of random mini dates, where you’ll be speeding through getting to know new people, without really knowing what they look like under that spooky outfit. It’s fun and casual, and if you have no luck, you can always stick around and drink away your sorrows at the afterparty from 9pm.
When: Thursday 31 October, 7pm to 9pm
Where: The Post Office, 10 Ocean Street, Maroochydore
Cost: $29

Rocky Horror Halloween Screening

Showing the 1975 cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, get ready for the ultimate time warp with this sci-fi slash musical slash comedy film. Come dressed as your favourite character and be prepared not to just sit back and relax—all tickets come with a party bag with instructions on how to get involved in the night.

Where: Event Cinemas, Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore
Cost: From $20
