With COVID-19 restrictions easing up little by little, plans that have been delayed since March are finally coming out of the woodwork, and so is Maroochydore’s new StrEATside Market.

Andrew Sisley, an experienced market operator who established and operates a number of successful markets in San Diego, is set to commence the weekly food and artisan market from Sunday 23 August at The MET in the Maroochydore CBD and we’re super pumped.

Sisley says with COVID-19 restrictions easing in Queensland the time was right to commence the weekly market which will operate every Sunday from 11am until 8pm.

“Food stall operators along with artists and performers have taken a massive hit as a result of the Coronavirus, so it’s great to be working with so many fun people and provide us all with an opportunity to generate a sustainable, long term business well into the future,” says Sisley.

Some of the confirmed food stalls include the likes of Noosa’s Mr. Pulled, Donut Kitchen, That Pizza Guy, Samba Catering, Flavours Of Brazil, Harri Dumpling and many more which you can check out on StrEATside’s Insta page.

Along with the stallholders, StrEATside will have a range of live music performances, a dedicated picnic area with blankets and umbrellas, as well as fun lawn games. Great food, great coffee, picnic blankets and live music? Sounds like the perfect Sunday to us.

StrEATside is also looking for additional stallholders at the moment, so if you’re a small business or artisan who would like to participate, hit up the StrEATside Market’s website.
