For everyone who’s been swaying towards adding some ethically-produced fashion and wares to their lives, but have no idea where to start, we’ve got great news.
The Sunshine Coast’s newest concept store, Woman by Abby Rose, will have you drooling over a whole treasure trove of sustainable threads, homewares and lifestyle products all in the one place.
Created around the ethos of “made by women, for women”, Woman is a bricks and mortar one-stop shop in Noosa, filled with a consciously curated selection of products handmade by woman within Australia.
Abby Vuister, the owner of Abby Rose Bikinis, opened the store to not only help people minimise their impact on our environment but to empower women in creative industries to continue living and growing their passions.
Sporting a thoughtful edit of Australian eco labels, you’ll find hand-knitted pieces from Revel Knitwear, classic undergarments from The Great Undressed, must-have jumpsuits from Sunshine Coast label Tasi Travels, swimwear from Charlee Swim and Abby Rose, and more.
Plus, to pretty up your home or wellness routine, there are stunning hand-drawn maps from Atlas The Collective, fresh flowers from Heavenly Blooms, cups and plates from Wendy Britton Ceramics, the Saya Skincare range and a beautifully-packaged selection of bee-nurturing seeds from Settler Hives. And that’s just the beginning.
To complement the store, Abby has teamed up with her bestie Lucy to create Club Woman—an online space for women to gather, collaborate, uplift and empower—and the Wonder Women series—a collection of events and workshops with Sunshine Coast creatives.
With one event already under their belt, the second Wonder Women series is happening later this month, featuring two incredibly talented local ladies, Holly Ryan, jeweller extraordinaire and Saya McDermott from Saya Skincare. To find out more or nab your seat, click here.
But back to the concept store, because that’s really where you should start your Woman journey. Now open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm, drop by and take a peek—we doubt you’ll leave empty handed.
