Perched right on the lakeside at Albert Park’s Power House Deck, you’ll find Melbourne’s latest summer destination. The Lake Club is the newest project from The Smith Prahran and Power House, bringing delicious cocktails and snacks to Albert Park Lake seven days a week until Sunday 21 March.
Find a spot on the sun-soaked deck or grab some nibbles to go for a picnic by the water. The menu is no average picnic though. We’re talking Red Coral Lobster and Prawn Rolls, Cape Grim Wagyu Katsu Sangas, Local Calamari and Plant-Based Burgers. There are also classic options that the kids will love—Beef Sliders, Mini Beer-Battered F&Cs, and Chicken Nuggets with Fries.
You can wash down your meal with a refreshment from the international beer and wine list, or if you’re feeling fancy opt for a cocktail or signature Spritz by The Smith. We recommend the Spritz, not only because they’re delicious, but also because $1 from every one sold will be donated to the Lord Somers Camp and Power House organisation.
If that wasn’t enough to encourage a boozy brunch, then the Lake Club events should get you over the line. Bottomless Spritz—need we say more?–will be available Monday to Friday for happy hour from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. For just $35, you’ll be treated to unlimited Spritz and one of those tasty lobster and prawn rolls. On top of that, every Sunday they’re taking you to church with The Smith’s resident Gospel Choir for brunch. Enjoy those soulful tunes for two hours with bottomless Spritz, house wine or beer for just $65 a head. Amen to that.
The Lake Club will be open from midday to 10pm midweek, then from 11am to late on weekends.
