Last year we were extremely happy to find that Victoria has its own answer to Japan’s cherry blossom season—albeit a lot smaller—in the form of almond blossoms in the northern part of the state. Well, it’s that time of year once again, and you’re going to need to know where to go, and what to check out at this year’s Mallee Almond Blossom Festival.
The 11th annual Mallee Almond Blossom Festival is taking place on Sunday 19 August from 10am, in Robinvale overlooking the Murray River.
You’ll get a chance to check out a heap of local produce including almonds, olives, flavoured olive oils, salad dressings, avocados, sultanas, fresh garden produce, honey, and much more.
To keep you entertained, 2017 female artist of the year Sarah Storer will be performing along with Max Savage, and the False Idols.
What: Mallee Almond Blossom Festival
When: Sunday 19 August
