Get Spooked At This Immersive Dance Theatre Horror Experience Set In A Caulfield Mansion

If you love a good jump scare, read on because this one’s definitely not for the faint of heart.

MANSION is a fully immersive dance, theatre circus and horror experience (I know that’s already a lot to unpack but stick with me here). The experience breaks down the wall between performer and audience member which allows you to embark on an interactive horror journey of the senses.

The performance tells the story of newly widowed Mel Walker, her son Levi and daughter Rachel who have just moved into the Labassa Mansion in search of new beginnings.

Built in the 1800s, the Labassa Mansion has been home to Melbourne's colourful elite. It has also been home to a number of supernatural guests—with ghost sightings since the 1920s, this Mansion's history is as dark as its lavish interiors.

What you’ll be stepping into is a paranormal, torrid love story, laced with temptation, nightmares, heartbreak, and, of course, horror. Dealing with the grief of losing a loved one, the family starts to fall apart in the face of evil as demonic spirits take over the Mansion. Spooky.

A dark fusion of contemporary dance, ballet, burlesque, commercial dance, aerial acts and circus with plenty of jumps and frights along the way, this show is promising to be unlike anything you have ever seen; it unfolds over 10 rooms in a two-storey 19th-century mansion, with audience members walking from room to room as the story unravels.

MANSION runs approximately 80 mins without an interval and is recommended for ages 15 years and over. So if this sounds like your haunted cup of tea, you can get your hands on tickets here.
