Global phenomenon, Diner en Blanc, will return to Melbourne in 2016 - and we have all the details on how to get your ticket to the secret dinner!
With a dress code of all-white, Diner en Blanc sees 1,500 diners descend upon a secret-squirrel location, which is revealed only hours before the event. Punters can purchase a champagne picnic, or BYO food.
Earlier this year, the event was held at the MCEC, and sold out pretty darn quickly: Over 8,000 Melburnians registered to attend, with only a lucky 800 nabbing a spot at the all-white secret dinner table.
This time around, the event will be held on Saturday 27 February 2016, and you can register from today to go into the ballot for the special event - plus, the good news is your chances look better than ever, with the 2016 event increasing to 1,500 tickets to meet demand. Winning!
People who attended last year will have a guaranteed spot at the dinner table (lucky ducks), and their friends will gain preferential entry thereafter... So hit up those old mates on Facebook who you saw there last year! After that, those new to the event will have to cross their fingers and hope for some ballot love.
Good luck Melbourne - and get those shining white duds ready.
The Diner en Blanc ballot is now open for registrations of interest here.
