Now that we can travel around Melbourne without restriction, there's no better way to get back into the swing of things than with a trip to Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens.
One of the most peaceful places in the city, the Royal Botanic Gardens now has another reason for you to visit—the Arid Garden.
The Arid Garden opened on Thursday 19 November, and features more than 3,000 cacti and succulents from 400 different species.
The new garden was designed by the Royal Botanic Garden's landscape architect, Andrew Laidlaw, and is based on the molecular structure of an aeonium succulent.
What: Arid Garden
Where: Gate C, Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, Birdwood Avenue, South Yarra
