Birrarung Marr will once again play host to everyone’s favourite garden party. There’s nothing better than taking it easy during a magic Melbourne summer on the banks of the Yarra, and the Royal Croquet Club will only be making your summer bigger and brighter.

The 16-day festival will feature the best music and food for you to sink your ears and teeth into, as well as the introduction this year of The Parlour—a 70-seat pop-up theatre which will be putting on a curated program of local, interstate and international acts.

Musical acts this year include Dope Lemon (Angus Stone), Jarryd James, Hayden James, Kitler, KLP and Touch Sensitive. You’ll also be able to catch Electric Fields from South Australia who will be taking centre stage on opening night alongside Fortunes.

There’s no shortage of options to line your stomach from. POW Kitchen, 8bit, Hoy Pinoy, Up In Smoke, lilnomnoms, Mr Chow and Gelato Messina will be serving up their finest dishes for the event—including Gelato Messina’s famed soup cans.

They’re expecting 60,000 plus over the 16 days, so you’re best to grab a ticket if you’re keen on heading in. For all further info check out the Royal Croquet Club website.
