Strap In, The Team Behind Those Terrifying Shipping Containers Are Back With An At-Home Experience

The interior of a spooky, derelict house. Paper is scattered across the old wooden floorboards.

You may recall those terrifying shipping container experiences, Seance and Flight, where you almost soiled yourself in fear. And then at the beginning of lockdown came Double, the audio experience from the same team—well, pull out some fresh pants because they’re back with another instalment called VISITORS.

Like, Double, VISITORS is best enjoyed in twos, and comes in the form of an audio-only experience. The narrative revolves around a couple who enter the listeners’ home, but here’s the twist, the couple are dead—things really take a turn when each participant begin to hear a separate side of the story.

The immersive experience comes courtesy of Darkfield creators David Rosenberg and Glen Neath who have caught worldwide attention with each of their experiences. For DOUBLE, the team has once again collaborated with Australian production company Realscape—if their past works are anything to go by, you can guarantee the fright factor will be turned up to 11.

For those needing more convincing, the team’s works have been selected as part of the Raindance Film Festival 2020, as well as being the first audio-only experience to be accepted at the famed Venice International Film Festival.

VISITORS is broadcasting every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8, 9 and 11pm from Tuesday 6 October until the end of December. Book tickets here.

In the meantime, scare yourself stupid with the best horror films streaming on Netflix.
