The Simpsons may have been onto something when they adopted their lovable Greyhound Santa’s Little Helper. This Sunday, Free the Hounds is getting in on the action showcasing why a greyhound is the ultimate companion with their annual Hounds Day Out.
Not just for greyhound lovers, this event is for all four-legged friends and their owners to join in all the fun doggo action.
Stalls will be set up throughout the day with plenty of food and drink options for you, as well as all the essentials for your pooch like collars, treats, bandannas and onesies.
Once they’re decked out in their new threads, why not get your doggo in on the competitive action—there will be a style competition, musical mats and potato, spoon and lead. It’s basically a sports carnival for your fur children.
All money raised will go to Greyhound Adoptions WA to help rehome ex racing Greyhounds, so it’d be rude not to go.
