Three Sisters Vietnamese Tuckshop | The Verdict

Three Sisters Vietnamese Tuckshop has opened up in Leederville and I’m here to tell you it’s ticking alllll of the boxes. Owned and run by three sisters, these girls have found the recipe for success and I for one couldn’t be happier. Quick, fresh and delicious, lunch at Three Sisters is everything you want it to be.

Heading in for Friday lunch recently, the first thing I noticed was the space is beautiful but tiny. With three others in tow, I was a little worried we might not get a seat. But we got in the line and by the time I’d decided what to order—which was not an easy task—we were at the front and there was a table available. The lunch gods were shining down upon us.

The menu is full of your usual Vietnamese finds—pho, rice vermicelli noodle salads, banh mi and rice paper rolls. They also have daily specials from curry to Vietnamese beef stew for those days when you just want something a bit different.

After agonising over what to order, I went for the trusty ol’ beef pho and it did not disappoint. Perfectly salty, flavoursome and very generous on the beef, it was just what the doctor ordered.

While I was very happy with my pho, I have to admit I got a little bit of food envy when the rice vermicelli noodle salads came out. One with lemongrass beef and one with turmeric chicken (and both with a crunchy spring roll that I desperately wanted to steal from my workmates bowls!), they were fresh, tasty and packed with goodness.

Let’s just say that I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu verrrry soon! Keep up the good work, Three Sisters!
