There’s A Massive Hip Hop Party Coming To Perth Next Month

There’s a massive hip hop party happening in Perth next month featuring WA’s next huge export. Young Jaycee will be releasing his second mixtape ‘Because It’s Summer’ on 5 December and, understandably, this calls for a massive hometown celebration.

We’re all for supporting local talent and Young Jaycee has proven to be an artist to watch out for. If you're trying to figure out how you know him, it might be thanks to his single Time To Go, which was number one on the Triple J Unearthed Hip Hop charts for two weeks running.

The launch party is happening on 8 December and this will be the first time to see him perform the new material from his new mixtape, Because It’s Summer, so add it to your calendar. DJs L-Street, Profits and Jayson Brown will be making an appearance and partying alongside you until the early hours of the morning, plus there are plenty of legendary local brands getting involved. Varsity will be handing out 100 free burgers on the night and StreetX will be releasing a Young Jaycee collab t-shirt in the lead up.

If all that's not enough, 10% of ticket sales will be donated to MercyCare Aboriginal Youth Service, so there are plenty of reasons to come. Just be quick, tickets are selling fast.
