Oriental Market & Grocer—OMG—is one of the latest ventures from Perth’s dumpling queen Jacquie Chan. The Miss Chow’s owner saw a gap in the market for an Asian-style grocer stocking specialty ingredients, ready-to-go meals, frozen foods and WA fresh produce. Made with local ingredients and featuring authentic recipes, the ready-made meals have made weeknight dinners much simpler, and OMG is soon to feature a liquor store. Stay tuned.

They also make amazing coffee, along with savoury options that cater to every craving, running the gamut from reuben sandwiches to falafel bowls. The best bit? If you’re on the go, you can shoot them a text with your coffee or acai order. Oushk in Arabic means to adore, which is how you will feel after visiting this cafe.

Whether you’re after something familiar, like a good old cheeseburger, or ready to try something new like the amazing falafel burger, there’s something for everyone. Plus, they’ve got incredible sides. You’ve got to try the mac 'n' cheese bites and the loaded curly fries.

Gluten-free bakery Darrington's has added another string to its bow by transitioning into a completely vegan bakery to boot. This hidden bakery, tucked behind the AirSpace yoga studio, is pumping out vegan and gluten-free sweets like doughnuts, brownies, eclairs and lemon meringue pies.

Upperhand Burgers
Upperhand Burgers in Swanbourne is taking burgers to the next level. Choose from a variety of burgers and then take it up a notch with one of their extras, such as the loco, which'll add chopped chilli, sriracha, guac and caramelised onions to your already awesome burger. There's also vegan and gluten-free options, so you don't have to worry about missing out. Their sides are just as fantastic, pay special attention to the nacho bacon fries and the tofu nuggets.
Handy Coffee Co
Swanbourne has come a long way over the years, and new addition Handy Coffee Co. has been receiving a very warm welcome from the locals. The cafe might be small but the coffee packs a punch, as do the dipped croissants fresh from the cabinet. There’s plenty of alternative milk choices and a few wildcards like the butterfly pea latte.
Fatboi Brownies
One look at Fatboi Brownies and there's no going back. Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, we're not sure we've tried a better brownie in Perth.
Fat Squirrel Coffee

There are also plenty of sweet treats that are gluten and dairy-free, including a delicious-looking chocolate and date slice. Fat Squirrel also stocks Think Cup reusable coffee cups in case you’re in the market for a new one.

Automatic is the latest Italian restaurant to hit Perth care of Michael De Marte—of Nolita and La Lola fame—who wanted to create a casual Italian eatery focusing on thin, Roman-style pizzas, delicious pasta and Italian food with a commitment to using only the best ingredients.
Lazy Lee Burger Bar
Lazy Lee Burger Bar is definitely a good place to go if you’re wanting a cheap and delicious feed in Perth. Found on the first floor of Perth’s new Hostel G, as the name suggests, they specialise in burgers.

The St Quentin Avenue cafe is dishing out healthy delights for breakfast and lunch that are as delicious as they are colourful.
