Sydney, summer is almost here and we're on the countdown to Christmas, which means there's an epic sling of activities to get around mid-week.

Here are five awesome things to do this week in Sydney.

All Week

Bottomless Margaritas And Endless Tacos

A hectic Mexican fiesta, by the name of Margarita Mansion, is descending on Darling Harbour, which means you’re in for a whole lot of frozen concoctions. On the menu, you’ll find “Bhang Bhang” with strawberry and lemongrass, “Sexico” with watermelon and basil, “Mango Fuego” with mango and jalapeno, “Pineapple Mansion” with pineapple and mint and “Loco Coco” with coconut and pandan. Along with this, you’ll also get the opportunity to upscale your drink to a “mega frozen” size—a massive share goblet.

When: All week (whole of summer)
Where: Bungalow 8, Darling Harbour

Disney’s Frozen 2 At The Grounds

All in celebration of Disney’s Frozen 2, you can now find The Enchanted Forest packed with autumn leaves and Crystal Lane decked out diamonds and illuminated trees. As for the treats you can dig into, there are three absolutely worth your time and all will be available in The Cafe and Potting Shed until Wednesday 29 January. The Ice Queen is a vanilla sponge cake topped with raspberries and cream cheese frosting, Frost Bite is a vanilla cookie decorated with white icing and Olaf’s Delight which is a tart for two loaded with rhubarb, plus and apple fillings.

You’ll also be able to get around Santa photos (until Tuesday 24 December) and The Grounds’ Snow Lane. Head here for more info.

When: All week (until Wednesday 29 January 2020)
Where: The Grounds Of Alexandria, Alexandria

Monday 9 December

$1 DUMPLINGS

Duck & Rice are offering up one hell of a deal that cannot be beaten—an absolute bargain in our books. Yep, we’re talking one dollar dumplings! Flavours include scallop and prawn, chicken gyoza, pork and mushroom, plus you'll also get vegetarian and Vietnamese spring rolls. Head here for more.

When: Monday 2 December, 5pm - 8pm

Tuesday 10 December

Junkyard Comedy Club

Presented by The Junkyard, The Lansdowne plays host to a weekly heap of Australia's best comedians and performers featuring stand-up, sketch, improv, new music and the occasional oddity. On the floor for this gig will be Alex Jae, John Cruckshank, Luke Heggie, Nat Damena and Sian Smyth. General admission tickets go for $15 but we highly recommend you grab the “pizza, drink and show” entry for $35 which aptly gives you a slice feed, a cold one and access to the show.

When: Tuesday 10 December, 7:30pm
Where: The Lansdowne, Chippendale

Wednesday 11 December

Christmas Markets At The Tramsheds

We’re not going to lie, Tramsheds definitely knows how to throw a holiday market. Packed with tasty Christmas treats, local produce and all the botanical arrangements, this one's guaranteed to be a fruitful market trip. If you have a real sweet tooth around Christmas time, you’ll also want to make sure you get into the gingerbread decorating workshops. Head over here for more info.

When: Wednesday 11 December, 3.30pm - 9pm
