The one thing Sydney is missing (apart from affordable housing) is a goddamn beach bar. We’re talking a bar that is actually on a beach—sand and all. We can dream, right? Right. Because lucky for us, (and for you), the beach babes at the Australian Open of Surfing have made this dream a reality.
From February 25th to March 5th, one of our fave beachside haunts, Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel (obvs), will be bringing their oh-so fabulous Beach Club to Manly.
Their iconic seaside-chic theme will be in full force, with comfy lounges (so you can settle in for the day) and blue and white umbrellas (so you can stay well into the night and remain heatstroke free).
The Beach Club will be fully licensed, serving all kinds of fresh coconut cocktails and ice-cold, craft brews from 4 Pines, as well as offering a seafood heavy summer menu, featuring fish and chips and a speciality Hawaiian Poke.
Expect a huge line-up of entertainment and activities (think morning yoga and live music).
Stay tuned for all the deets.
