10 Of The Best One Piece Swimsuits For Summer

Aaaaaah, summer. We can almost taste it. Long afternoons in the sunshine, sandy toes, afternoon ice blocks and evening Aperol Spritz. Is there really anything not to love? We think no.

But with summer comes the constant battle between a hot bikini bod or second serving of pavlova. We get you. We’re big advocates for having our pavlova and eating it too which is exactly why we’re beyond delighted that the one-piece is having a serious moment RN. Not having to worry about losing our bikini top when diving under a wave is also a big tick from us. We’ve all been there.

Here are our favourite (home-grown, Aussie-designed) one-pieces you need to buy right now.

#1 Bec & Bridge | Germaine One Piece

A one-piece made for beach-side picnics, this one is nothing like nan’s picnic blanket. It’s also just as cute as it is functional.

#2 Frankie Swimwear | The Crawford Bodysuit

You’ll be showing a little skin in all the right places in this seamless number. The blush shade looks best on tanned babes (or faux tanned babes) and it’s oh-so comfy.

#3 P.E Nation | Back Paddle One Piece

For the effortless cool girl who spends Saturday afternoons surfing and going on soft-sand runs, we salute you. This one piece was made for you.

#4 Fella Swim | Harvey Specter Full Piece

This one piece by Fella Swim is all kinds of flattering—it’ll highlight your curves aaand smooth over the bits you might want to hide. This universally flattering swimsuit is made super modern thanks to this new-season khaki shade.

#5 Zulu & Zephyr | Sherry One Piece

If you’re the kind of gal who basically considers leopard print is a neutral, this one’s for you.  Instead of wearing your staple basic black, try a fun print like this one. Add a pair of denim cut-offs and you’re good to go for an afternoon sangria (or three).

#6 Matteau | The Scoop Maillot

This one by Matteau is the ultimate foolproof LBOP (that’s little-black-one-piece FYI). This little black number has thin straps, a scoop front and low-back—there’s not one person it won’t look bangin’ on and we know you’ll be rocking it next season too.

#7 Zimmermann | Corsair Corset Frill One Piece

Zimmermann can do no wrong in the world of swimwear as far as we’re concerned (or any world, really). Whilst this laced-up, frill-accented one piece is fancier than most of our summer cocktail dresses, it’s perfect to wear to summer pool parties and beachside soirees.

#8 TRIANGL | Jarah Spearmint One Piece

As seen on every super-tanned Insta’ model, TRIANGL’s Jarah One Piece is all about the party in the front, business in the back. Whilst we’re not sure about the tan lines you’ll get from this one, we love it all the same.

#9 Baythe Swim | Kate One Piece

We can't get enough of Sydney based Baythe Swim, and not just because we love the designs. They use an Italian fabric which is sustainably produced—recycled fishing nets are just one of the materials used—and it's also moisture wicking and offers UV protection, which means you can say heck yes to a nice long beach stroll before your swim. We're digging this citrus orange one piece for summer.

#10 UNE Piece | Sexie Rashie

UNE Piece is the Brisbane label that made rashies sexy and we're 100% on board. The waitlist for these bad boys was 500 people long last summer so you might want to nab yours ASAP. They've got a whole range of beautiful prints, but we think the original black Sexie Rashie screams Bond girl.
