There’s a whole lot of creative genius happening in Chippendale these days.
Championing all that creativity is Something for Jess, a corner café that’s gathered an impressive selection of Chippendale’s finest and packed them into a laneway for a one day only Christmas market.
If you’re lagging behind on the whole end of year present-buying thing, this will be a pretty great chance to catch up. You’ll find over fifteen boutique stalls, peddling everything spectacular from fashion to art, music and design.
Galerie Pompom will throw open their stockroom, with a special presentation of art magazines and artwork for sale (their stable includes some pretty serious local talent, so this is an unmissable shopping opportunity).
Network Connection Records will be spinning tunes all day, as well as selling a little of the best vinyl from independent Sydney labels and international acts.
The fashion powerhouse otherwise known as Ellery will also be there, helping you cover your bases for all New Year’s and Christmas related parties and celebrations.
There’ll be a bunch of vegan and ethical brands on show (Salt Luxe makeup brushes and Amacyn natural and vegan-friendly perfumes, for example), plant-based sculptures, ceramics, ilustrations and one-of-a-kind jewellery.
White Rabbit Gallery will be serving up some kind of surprise on the day (will it be worth it for the ‘Gram? Probably, yes).
Last but not least, Something for Jess will be handing out free vegan Christmas hampers to the first 100 visitors. Legends.
