Monday 18th

DIY Hair Workshops With Desmond & Molly Jones

Surry Hills salon Desmond & Molly Jones are hosting DIY hair workshops throughout the month. Today's 'Braidy Brunch' session will teach you the art of perfecting pretty plaits (7pm-9pm). Tickets available here. Or, join the queen of all things floral, Holly Hipwell of The Flower Drum to create whimsical floral wreaths (Sunday 24th 11am-12:30pm). Tickets here.

Tuesday 19th

Silent Cinema At The Local Taphouse

Catch Lincoln under the stars at the Local Taphouse's silent rooftop cinema. This is Tuesday movie night like never before—candlelit tables and complimentary pinot noir! Head up early for one of their delicious burgers before the film rolls on. Doors open 7pm; $10 entry.

Thursday 21st

Mr.Wolf Magazine Edition Two Launch

To celebrate the launch of Mr.Wolf Magazine's second edition, you're invited to a Scandinavian-inspired evening at The Backroom. Nordic beats will take over the dance floor, while Rekorderlig Cider will be supplying the drinks. $10 cover charge at the door.

Friday 22nd

The World's Biggest Blind Date

One for the Guiness World Records, Sydney Opera House will be transformed into the world's biggest blind date on February 21—with more than 700 single Sydneysiders expected to take part. Register now via their website.

Saturday 23rd

Chocolate Making With Four Friends

For all you chocolate lovers—Crows Nest's boutique chocolate café, Four Friends, is offering 2-hour chocolate making courses. Guests will learn the traditional methods of tempering chocolate, and be taught how to master nine different kinds of chocolate truffles—yum!

TUL note: DineSmart will be happening across Sydney until December 31. The initiative aims to unite restaurants and diners to help the homeless. During the event, each table from participating restaurants will be asked to add a $2 or more donation to the bill. Restaurants participating this year include Longrain, The Apollo, Café Sydney and Saké Restaurant & Bar.
