A man in a hat, smiling and drinking wine.

If the name “Barossa” is thrown around when yarning about wine, you pretty much know it’s going to be a decent drop. The South Australian region has a similar climate to the Mediterranean which makes it ideal for growing the grape. Veteran label Yalumba has been capitalising on that since 1849, making bold and nuanced reds while practising sustainable production methods throughout the process—and now, you can join their wine club completely free of charge.

The club, coined The Insider, does what it says on the label. Each month, Yalumba will curate a series of wine pairing tips, matching recipes and insider info on their wine of the month—you’ll also score a members-only offer should you decide you need that bottle of vino in your life.

Like any reputable member club, this one’s full of perks. Anyone who orders wine online will know that shipping can be an expensive process with all those previous bottles of the good stuff being carted across the country, and that’s why Yalumba are spotting the cost for orders over $200. Should the extensive catalogue of reds overwhelm you, the winemakers will also be putting together curated wine packs to match the seasons.

The sommelier—or more likely vino—in us all will rejoice in 10% off a hefty selection of bottles from their online store and their brick and mortar locale should you happen to be in Yalumba’s neck of the woods. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Become an Insider with Yalumba here.

And, you should probably keep the good wines flowing with this super-personalised wine subscription
