The man who created the Facebook page Humans of New York that became a social media phenomenon—and paved the way for our very own Humans Of Aotearoa and subsequent brances—is coming Down Under. And, while it's across the ditch, we reckon with Sydney only a three-hour flight away, this is great news for New Zealanders, too. For one day only Brandon Stanton will be here IRL to discuss all things Humans of New York, and we expect all of you to fan boy and girl accordingly.
Part of the Talks & Ideas program at the Sydney Opera House, settle in for a firsthand account of how one bloke’s hobby of taking photos of strangers became a movement followed by more than 20 million people across the globe.
This February Brandon will take us behind the scenes of what goes in to creating HONY, and how he created pretty much all of our dream jobs with just a camera and internet connection.
Tickets go on sale Friday 12 January.
