Green-fingered friends, the day where we can show off the skills that mother nature bestowed on us has come; a huge cacti and succulent festival is coming to Brisbane! And yes, you can buy up plants to your heart's content. Woohoo!
Need a new cactus to adorn your desk at work (they do say that greenery makes you more productive or something…), or perhaps you killed off the last of your windowsill-bound succulents—it’s okay, we’ve all been there. Whatever your green dream, make sure you hot-foot it to the Cactus & Succulent Society Of Queensland’s weekend long annual show, where you can get your hands on some of the finest cacti and succulents in town.
Held atop Mt Coot-tha inside the Botanical Garden’s Auditorium, you’ll be in pot plant heaven at this stunning plant show. Get your hands on some unique plants to add to your collection (from specialist growers no less), check out some of the incredible displays for a spot of gardening inspo—even buy a book or two to brush up your plant knowledge!
So pack a market bag (or bring an extra pair of hands) and get stuck in. We can just picture our new green additions already… See you there!
