10 am
Start your holiday by checking into Ambiance On Burleigh ** before heading to Burleigh Beach for a dip or sun lounge. Or, chuck on your sneakers and make the scenic hike over Burleigh Hill and to Tallebudgera Creek.
1 pm
Grab lunch at one of the Gold Coast's favourite cafes—Paddock Bakery in Miami. And order the dippy eggs if you know what’s good for you.
2:30 pm
A short walk down the road, swing past Black Hops Brewery for a couple of craft beers and a chin wag with the owners, before embarking on a brewery tour. **
3:30 pm
After your brewery visit, meander south to James Street in Burleigh Heads for a spot of boutique shopping.
5 pm
All that shopping will leave you pretty hungry, so pull up a patch of grass on Burleigh Hill, a local fave, to watch the sunset with wood fired pizzas delivered by Justin Lane (via bicycle!). **
7 pm
If you've still got the energy, or have a hankering for dessert, head for Miami Marketta for some Friday night hangs with the locals.
9 am
Head south to Coolangatta's gorgeous Rainbow Bay for a morning spent beachside, with a grab-and-go coffee and breakfast from Little Mali.
12 pm
After your chill morning by the beach, visit the characterful old Rainbow Bay Surf Club for midday beers—because you’re on holidays, so why not?
2 pm
Continue your day of beer appreciation with a tour of Balter Brewery in Currumbin**, owned by legendary pro surfers and Gold Coast locals Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson and Bede Durbidge.
5 pm
Be spoilt with a reserved rooftop table and sunset drinks at Burleigh Heads institution, Justin Lane Establishment.**
7:30 pm
End your day in paradise with an Asian fusion dinner for two at Gold Coast's much-loved seaside dining destination, Rick Shores.**
9 am
Rub shoulders with the locals when visiting The Village Markets in Burleigh; come hungry to feast at one of the food trucks and then listen to smooth live acoustics while you eat. The Village Markets is held the first and third Sunday of each month.
11 am
Now you’re feeling full and ready to seize the day, jump in the car and head inland to the Currumbin Valley for a morning exploring the lush Cougal Cascades.
1 pm
Squash your hunger with a trip to Iron & Resin Garage for a hearty burger lunch. Just don't be intimated by the motorbikes parked out front, this is a hidden local gem!
3 pm
Make your way back home filled with memories of how darn awesome your Gold Coast holiday was.
