The Perfect Gold Coast Holiday For…The Foodie

By Rachel Lay - 27 Jul 2016

Congrats you’re in the draw! Looks like you’re a bit of a foodie fan. You have great taste! Here’s the perfect Gold Coast itinerary just for you. The best news yet? Not only are we providing return flights and accommodation, but items marked with an asterisk** from the itinerary below are included too. For a full list of the terms and conditions, please click here.

ARRIVE

Drop your bags at your Broadbeach accommodation. We’re pretty smitten with Peppers, Sofitel or The Star.**

9 am

Kick things off with some beachside lounging and a dip—your accommodation is right by the beach, so it would be rude not to, really…

10 am

Treat yourself after your busy morning of doing nothing but relaxing, with a spot of shopping at Gold Coast's seriously impressive Pacific Fair Shopping Centre

1 pm

Next up, it’s time for lunch. We wouldn’t treat you to any old lunch, oh no, you’re booked in for a private pizza making class at Salt Meats Cheese in Surfers Paradise.**

6 pm

Finally, make your way to Mermaid Beach and settle in for an epic dinner at local favourite, Etsu Izakaya (is there any better way to end a day than with next-level Japanese?!).**

9 pm

Need a night cap? We suggest Hideaway Kitchen & Bar, Aloha Bar or The Loose Moose—all in Broadbeach.

9 am

It’s up and at ‘em on day two, grab some brekky at BSKT Cafe then head out to Currumbin Valley Harvest for fresh herbal tea amongst the veggie gardens. While you’re there, make the walk up to Cougal Cascades for a dip under the waterfall.

12 pm

Pop on over to Robina where you'll don an apron and scrub up on your skills in the kitchen with a masterclass at Icon Cookery School at The Kitchens—these guys are absolute pros!**

7 pm

There’s no rest for the wicked as you head onto the next foodie spot for a VIP experience at Palm Beach’s 8th Ave. Terrace. Hang out with the chef (read: pick their brains and eat all of the things), followed by a delicious wine-paired meal with extra love and attention from the team and sommelier.**

9 pm

If there’s still room (of course there is, you little foodie!) take a stroll down the road, for after dinner cocktails with the locals at the GC’s fab new rooftop bar, The Collective.

8:30 am

You’re living like a serious local today with breakfast for two at Bam Bam Bakehouse, followed by a guided tour of the bakery. Mmmmm.**

1 pm

Next up, pack your bags and check out before you head south for lunch at the infamous Rick Shores—this is Gold Coast beachfront dining in its truest form.**

4 pm

And just like that, it’s over! We hope you're leaving feeling full and satisfied, you little foodie, you. Head back to the airport and say your good byes to the sunny Gold Coast.

**If you're our lucky winner, items marked with an asterisk are included in your prize for free.
