Great news, market-hungry Gold Coasters! The Village Markets are re-opening in the flesh this weekend for the first time since the coronavirus forced them to shut their open-air marketplace.
Popping up this Sunday 7 June from 8.30am, come armed with tote bags galore because The Village Markets are bound to be chock-a-block full of awesome finds from some incredible local Aussie talent who need your support, now more than ever. Like always, you can expect to find cool fashion from up-and-coming local designers, food trucks, beautiful homewares, unique jewellery and more.
While we’ve loved being able to get our shop on over the past few months thanks to TVM's new digital marketplace, there’s something about wandering through stalls and chatting with creatives and business owners that can’t be replicated, virtually.
There will be stringent hygiene and safety measures in place to keep everyone happy and healthy, so rug up and get your fix of gift-shopping, winter threads or just, a bunch of good times.
