You’d be lying if you said you didn’t wander around Gold Coast’s biggest and brightest lifestyle markets with lust and vigour at the sheer talent pool of creatives, dreamers and doers living in our vibrant region.
The Village Markets, developed by everyday local gals and super mummies Marissa Bowden and Sarah Schoeller, has been popping up every second Sunday for a staggering nine years. The momentum this market has generated to shape the Coast’s unique culture is immeasurable and one of those integral threads of the community fabric we’d be lost without.
In a city where big corporations and industry employment is limited compared to our capital cousins, sometimes you’ve just gotta carve your own career path. On the brink and need the extra push to take the plunge? Well, this inspiring new event is for you.
This July, The Village Markets are giving you a rare backstage insight into market life via their inaugural TVM Talks series. Three of their biggest brand success stories, who’ve utilised TVM as a stepping stone to a thriving and fulfilling career, will be taking to the small stage to share their journey.
You’re invited to get to know Kirsten Beck of Molly & Polly, Sharona Harris from F+H Jewellery and Sweet Child of Mine mum-prenuer Kendra Miller-Sherley. Coming together for a night of networking, story sharing (the triumphs and tribulations), discussion, Q&As and a whole bunch of giveaways, yummy eats and those signature #goodvibes.
Held in an equally uplifting space, Balter Brewery, your $70 ticket is packed with value. Not only will you listen to insider tips and tricks from some fab local brands, you’ll receive a chance to win sweet lucky door prizes, a yummy Latin American dinner by Little Wahaca, a refreshing Balter tinnie, TVM tote with goodies, live music by the equally talented Jackson James Smith and loads of networking opps with a like-minded crowd.
Sounds like a stellar use of an otherwise quiet Thursday night, don’t ya think?
