What is the most Australian thing you can think of? Whatever you were thinking, you're probably wrong because the answer is Bad Frankie, a new Fitzroy bar set to open on 18th June. 'Why so Australian?' you may be thinking. Well, Bad Frankie is the first ever Specialist Australian Spirits Bar and boy, do they have a lot to offer.

You don't have to get decked out in green and gold to show your Aussie pride, you can just as easily support local by sipping on one of the 150 Australian quality spirits on offer at Bad Frankie. This Fitzroy bar isn't just a place for cocktail enthusiasts but rather an outlet for the craft distillers industry to blossom. Bad Frankie founder, Sebastian Costello, is particularly enthusiastic about supporting the industry and encourages you to try some of the Australian greats such as 666 Vodka and Lark Whiskey.

If this doesn't convince you that Bad Frankie is the most true blue bar to hit Fitzroy, then listen up. Did I forget to mention the Fitzroy bar will be serving the most iconic Australian dish known to basically every man and his dog? That's right, Bad Frankie is also a jaffle bar. Might we suggest you munch on a chicken and homemade mayo jaffle or opt for braised beef cheek with tomato chutney to soak up all of that excellent Aussie liquour.

Sound too good to be true? Well it gets even better, folks! Bad Frankie will also be flinging dessert jaffles to the fine people of Fitzroy. We cannot wait to indulge in one of their lamington jaffles, but perhaps an ANZAC cookie jaffle is more up your street… Destination taste paradise, aka Bad Frankie bar, can be found on Greeves Street, Fitzroy.

Head to Bad Frankie from Wednesday 18th June to get in on all the tasty, thirst-quenching Aussie action. We reckon this Frankie bird's not so bad after all!
