No one really likes driving in the city, do they? Come on… who wants to deal with hook turns, badly placed parallel parking and, of course, Melbourne traffic?

Kiss those hefty parking fees goodbye, because Chinese mega transport platform, Didi Chuxing, has just launched its ride-sharing service Didi Express in Melbourne, starting today.

Available for download now from the App Store, riders will also get an extra $20 bucks for them and any new friend they refer. Basically, that means you and your friend can go out to dinner and get a free lift home. If that isn’t the best news you’ve heard this Monday, we’re not sure what is.

Feel free to sink a few after-work bevvies guilt-free, knowing you have a ride home only a few taps away on your phone. Have a few more for the hell of it, because from today until the end of July, Didi Express is offering the insane offer of 50% off all your trips.

We're guessing that's gonna make your trip home just as cheap as taking the tram. And this way, you don't have to deal with waiting on the wind-hall of a platform or smelling exactly what the person across from you had for lunch. We're not trying to tell you how to live your life but...

Is it worth even leaving the house this week though? Check out your Horoscopes here and find out.
