Hey how you doin' lil mamma lemme whisper in yo’ ear, tell you somethin’ that you might like to hear. Specifically, it’s that if you know the name of Nobu’s new cocktail, the first 50 golden customers get it for free/zero dollas/no monay/nil cash dollarinos. Which is coincidentally a lot better than coughing up its street value of $42.
Located in the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest entertainment complex (Crown, not Highpoint), Nobu is one of our city’s shmanciest Japanese restaurants, and they’ve opened their doors to Melbourne's thirstiest cheapskates for two sweet hours this Thursday.
From 6pm tomorrow evening, for the first 50 customers, Nobu will be giving away the new ~limited edition~ whiskey cocktail to anyone who can rest an elbow on the bar, pull a staff member over with their best sticky eyes and whisper three sweet little words in their ear. It’s that simple (and you have to do it exactly like that, or looking up "James Bond's smoothest bar moves" on YouTube was all for nothing).
The cocktails themselves have been created exclusively to celebrate the national Japanese holiday, Golden Week. This sweet little drop combines Hibiki Harmony whiskey, orange bitter, Japanese Shiso leaves and is a thousand times more fancy than anything you've ever bought yourself in the past.
Okay, so enough chin wagging, the secret cocktail name is: The New Fashion.
Pack ‘er up boys, we’ve got free dranks to drink.
Where: Nobu, South Bank
When: 6pm-8pm, Thursday 4 May
What: FREE limited-edition cocktail (for the first 50 customers)
Cold dranks aren’t your thang, what about these OTT hot choccies?
