Japanese Modernism
Japanese Modernism kicked off at NGV from Friday 28 of February and 'looks at the creative art and design of this period with a focus on the increasingly socially liberated status of Japanese women during the 1920s and 1930s'.
The exhibition will feature mid-century works which showcase when traditional Japanese art and aesthetics intersected with European life and culture, and the creation of Asian art deco paintings, prints, and fashion.

Along with the KAWS exhibition at the NGV, comes KAWS: PLAYTIME, a sensory-rich experience for the little ones, the big ones and families to explore.
The exhibition is completely interactive, and a great way to entertain children before you drag them through the free display of 18th-century artefacts upstairs at the NGV.

Street Eatz Frankston
Food truck festival Street Eatz turns its attention to the Frankston foreshore this March with a six-day event featuring some of the finest food trucks Melbourne has to offer.
Alongside great food, there will be fireworks, live music, games, roving performers, mini-golf, a kids zone, and much more.

Miniature Art
Good things come in small packages. And this is especially true at Beinart Gallery's latest exhibition.

Light Up Melbourne
Light Up Melbourne runs over four-days in 2020, and will take over the upper and lower terrace of Birrarung Marr.
The festival of light features a 27-metre long 'Eternal Dragon' as the centrepiece of the 11 major lantern light installations.
There will also be a range of market stalls to keep the hunger away as you check out the amazing light displays.
