Get Your Gloves Ready, The Ski Fields Are Opening Early

Right now you’re probably having an extremely passive aggressive office fight over what the temperature should be set at, is it a comfortable 21 degrees, or maybe an over the top 26. Either way, we can all agree it’s damn cold.

But this cold weather has some benefits you’re about to discover, SNOW.

Both Mount Baw Baw and Mount Buller have declared the snow season open and will be open for the first weekend of winter.

The snow levels currently up in the alpine region haven’t been seen since 2010 so you’re in for an absolute treat.

Where: Mount Baw Baw
When: Open to the public for snow play Thursday 1 June, tobogganing open Friday 2 June.

When: Bourke Street ski run opens Friday 2 June, 5:30pm – 8:30pm
