Your Favourite Dog-Friendly Outdoor Cinema Is Returning To Melbourne

By Sophie Oddo - 07 Feb 2019

Cinemas are great. Outdoor cinemas are even better. But outdoor cinemas with your dog are the best. QV Cinema's dog-friendly outdoor cinema is back complete with a smorgasbord of treats and comfy lounging for you and your pooch.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, get ready for the perfect activity for a balmy summer evening. Picture a huge outdoor screen, ample deck chairs, delicious treats—and most importantly, room for your furry friends.

The Flick Fest program will be running from 14 February until 24 March and will be sporting an epic line-up of themed screenings with everything from old school classics to newly released blockbusters. There’ll also be pre-film events including special guest appearances, live performances, and pop-up bars, so you don’t have to worry about sitting through 20 minutes of dry commercials.

If you’re keen for a bite to eat before or after the flick, you’ll be pleased to know there’s something to tickle even the fussiest of taste buds. With over 25 food outlets, the QV precinct is your oyster with everything from crepes, pho, juicy schnitzels, Korean BBQ and even mouth-watering bubble cups.

Better yet, if you love a movie snack just as much as a pre-movie feed, then rest easy knowing that there’s bulk tasty treats and beverages available to satisfy all of your snacking desires. We’ll personally be keeping a keen eye out for the handcrafted Scroll Ice Cream and the Prosecco Van.

What are you waiting for? It’s time to book in and leash up. Check out all the need-to-know info below.
