Just when you thought it was safe to increase that credit card limit...
Gorman just dropped their brand new summer range, and it’s looking all sorts of colour-me-amazing. This time the brand is teaming up with Los Angeles-based artist Lola Thompson, whose po-art watercolours seem ripped straight from the Lisa Gorman hive mind.
It’s fair to say Lola is riding a bit of a wave right now. Sia, Al Pacino and Madonna have all picked up her pieces, and she’s recently been featured in Vogue and The New Yorker. Gorman is her latest collab.
The new range is built around pop-inspired patterns and geometric shapes, inspired by the everyday lives of women.
“Working with Lola on this collaboration is a celebration on a few levels,” says Lisa Gorman. “The marriage between Lola’s gorgeous artwork and my clothing, explored through a textured world of sequins, digital print and glitter. A recognition of our combined Australian and American roots. I feel like there’s a sort of unspoken understanding of where we’ve both come from and where we’re heading.”
You can grab the Lola Thompson X Gorman collection at a few select stores in Melbourne and L.A., plus Gorman’s online shop.
