Melbourne’s definitely making a name for itself in the startup space, and we’re seeing more and more co-working spaces setting up shop around town.

And now WeWork—a company that specialises in creating co-working spaces—has set up shop on Bourke Street to create a whole new space for aspiring local entrepreneurs.

Taking up 6 floors of the CBD’s historic London Stores building, WeWork Bourke Street has capacity for more than 700 people, space for everything from start-ups to larger corporations.

The space features artwork from local artists including FunSkull, Georgia Hill, and Mik Shida to bring the look and feel of Melbourne’s streets and laneways to the indoors.

Members of WeWork Bourke Street will have access to WeWork locations all around the world including Los Angeles, New York, Shanghai, and many more. They’ll also have free Wi-Fi, local kombucha, Nitro Cold Drip Coffee on tap, fruit-infused water and plenty more perks to take advantage of.

They’re also looking to fill out their events program which will include ‘lunch and learn’ sessions, as well as ‘Wellness Wednesday’ which will feature yoga, and massages.
