If you're anything like us, you know the feeling of waiting eagerly for that knit you bought online (while you were supposed to be working) because you just had to have it. And while we still love Saturdays spent perusing our favourite boutique shops, we can't go past the convenience of purchasing lust-worthy goods direct from our desk. Welcome, My Chameleon.

For those that don't know, this gorgeous Sydney-based e-tailer was one of the first in Australia (when online shopping was still the new thing on the block), and has fast become a go-to for stylish women. Showcasing leading and emerging contemporary designers, including the likes of Chistopher Esber, Jerome Dreyfuss, Tome, The Row, Organic by John Patrick, and Dion Lee, the edit reflects a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic. Every designer is handpicked on the fundamentals of design, quality, and cut.

You might have guessed it, but My Chameleon's owner and director, Giselle Farhat, has serious style. We caught up with Giselle to find out what's popping up online and garner her top wardrobe essentials.

TUL: What path led you to what you're doing today?
Giselle Farhat: My Chameleon was founded after seven years spent working in finance. I combined my financial background with a desire to create a fashion portal, wherein international labels are made more accessible to Australian women.

TUL: How did you originally become involved in fashion?
GF: My Chameleon is my first venture into fashion.

TUL: What makes My Chameleon unique, and how do you choose which designers to showcase?
GF: We strive to introduce new labels to the Australian market and choose to showcase designers with a commitment to quality, cut, and longevity, rather than trend and exposure.

TUL: What does a typical day at work involve?
GF: Every day is different. I could be researching new designers, analysing financial data, working on styling, or discussing strategy.

TUL: What can we expect from Spring Summer '14/'15?
GF: My Chameleon will be introducing Swedish unisex sneaker label, Eytys alongside new London-based label, Atea Oceanie, so expect smartly tailored silhouettes with a street-wise sensibility.

TUL: What influences your own style?
GF: My style is most influenced by my mood.

TUL: Where do you like to shop?
GF: I love to visit interiors and furniture stores. A personal favourite is Anibou on Bourke Street in Redfern.

TUL: Fashion pieces you couldn't live without?
GF: A well-cut black blazer, a white or blue collared shirt, cashmere t-shirts, tailored pants, and pumps.

TUL: Where was the last great meal you ate?
GF: The bone marrow with XO sauce at my favourite restaurant at the moment, Ester in Chippendale.
