Get ready to circle Friday 18 October in your diary, Brisbane, because hitting your social feeds this morning is news that American rapper TYGA is adding one more stop to his upcoming visit to Australian soil.
Fresh off the back of the news that the world’s most talked-about rapper of the moment, Tyga, will be heading to the Gold Coast to headline The Grass Is Greener in October, comes the news that the Rack City singer will be adding one more show to his roster, bringing his impressive lyrics to town for one night only.
So if you can’t make it down to the Coast for the festival, save yourself a trip down the highway and head for Brisbane’s shiny new entertainment venue, Fortitude Music Hall, instead. Later this year, TYGA will grace the stage for an all-out show just off the back of his recently released seventh studio album Legendary. The album enlisted the likes of Gunna, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and J Balvin so there’s no doubt his upcoming show is set to be huge. The controversial rapper is never far from the headlines, but his tracks always deliver, ensuring he’s a regular on the Billboard charts, with 16 of his hits having debuted in the top ten.
Joining him will be supporting acts Horizon and Iiiconic, with Danyon and Bxwdy also on the bill for the night. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $74.95, and you can grab them through Ticketmaster, but be quick—there’s only 3000 tickets available and they’re going to go fast.
