How To Convince Your Boss To Throw An Epic Christmas Party

Ohhhh office Christmas parties. No one likes them, LBH. That is unless they’re organised by anybody but the boss. Lucky for you, we’ve teamed up with Munich Brauhaus to let you in on how to convince your boss to throw an epic Christmas party. You can thank us later.

#1 Organise It For Them

The best way to convince your boss to throw an epic Christmas party is to do the hard work for them, duh. Organise every last detail and you’ll get everything you ever wanted. We hope.

#2 Book The Venue

If they don’t trust you to organise everything (they can be a little controlling, can’t they!?), at least offer to book the venue. We’re talking about a venue with the best brews in town, plenty of space and allllll of the good vibes (we’re talking about Munich Brauhaus, obvs).

#3 Ban Any Sort Of Theme

No one likes dressing up. Tell your boss people won’t be able to focus on their work during the busiest time of the year because they’ll be too busy thinking about their costumes. No boss likes low productivity. Fact.

#4 Make Sure There’s Plenty Of Food

Food is probably the single most important thing at any office Christmas party. Always over cater and make sure it’s more than just boring canapés, please. You can’t go wrong with pretzels, schnitzels, pork knuckle and bratwurst, which is exactly why we strongly suggest you book a huge table at Munich Brauhaus so you can eat yourselves into a food coma (and avoid awkward small talk) then roll home. They even have a Christmas feasting menu this year, featuring a limited edition platter with a Bavarian roast chook, potato and gravy balls, sausages and more. #Droooool.

#5 And Allllll Of The Drinks

Every Christmas party needs beer, wine and cocktails. If drinks are a top priority (FYI they 100% are), order stein after stein of the best damn German beers in Melbourne at Munich Brauhaus and keep the whole team happy with shots of schnapps.

#6 Hang Out For The After Party

Your boss will probs leave by the time the after party rolls around and we all know this the moment you have been waiting for. The real party is the after party so get ready to cut loose and do some real team bonding.

So there you have it. Eat, drink and be merry—it’s that simple. Book a spot Munich Brauhaus and the whole office will love you. You might even get some extra brownie points with the boss. Just sayin’.
