Light Up The Night At This Weekend’s Basement Party Happening Beneath Hamer Hall

Melbourne Music Week this year has been next level.

Not only has the multi-sensory outdoor light installation known as Kubik returned to the city for the first time since 2011, and the action in and around Melbourne’s CBD celebrating the music scene both locally and internationally has been nonstop.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, with this weekend being the final siren call for the festival’s events.

The good news for us is that the minds behind Melbourne Music Week have teamed up regular party-throwers Crown Ruler and Bizarro to send it off with a very big bang. How? With a basement rave at none other than Hamer Hall.

While we might be used to events taking place within the prestigious venue’s concert hall, we’re definitely not mad about them taking things beneath surface level to present the official MMW Closing Party. Especially when world-class selectors Roza Terenzi, Luca Lozano, Mr. Ho and Rok Riley have been billed for the evening.

Expect this party underneath Hamer Hall’s overarching mezzanine to be one for the books. Tickets are currently on sale and purchasing sooner rather than later is recommended.
