Huxtaburger Pop-Up to Open in Carlton

Urban Listers, we know you love Huxtaburger, and so do we. Heck what's not to love about some of the best burgers in Melbourne

Well one thing that's not to love is that so far there are only three stores. Sure, Prahran, the CBD and Collingwood create a nice reach for burger lovers, but when it comes to getting your droolworthy Huxtaburger fix, we know you want more. Alas, dear Urban Listers, the Huxtaburger crew are opening another restaurant! From October 1st, one of Melbourne's oldest live music venues, The John Curtin Hotel on Lygon Street in Carlton, will host the newest Huxtaburger in pop-up form!

Music AND burgers! We reckon that's a pretty awesome combination and we're sure all you Northsiders are doing a happy dance. The Huxtaburger pop-up will be located in The Curtin for a minimum of six months, serving up mouth-watering buns from lunchtime all the way through to late at night. For all the music-loving late-night partygoers, we're sure you'll agree with us; burgers are the new kebabs.

Brought to you by Daniel Wilson, Dante Ruaine and Jeff Wong, Huxtaburger is fast becoming a recognised name and much loved Melbourne institution. The burgers speak for themselves, and the new Huxtaburger pop-up will be serving up existing fan favourites including the Theo burger, with double beef, double cheese, mustard, mayo, tomato sauce, tomato, lettuce, pickles, bacon, and the kicker, BBQ sauce! Our favourite though is Clair, Huxtaburger's new burger, with ah-mazing Southern fried chicken, slaw and jalapeño mayo. Hot stuff!

So Carlton goers, get excited cos you can now get your burger on this October! Just keep in mind that chips and beer are a requirement – not really, but seriously, why wouldn't you?
