Meat Feud Carne-val Comes to Town

12th Feb 2015

Meat lovers, meat your dreams at the Great Southern Beef & Lamb Meat Feud. Six hours of meaty-madness!? Your Labour Day public holiday is officially sorted!

The Deck at The Prince in St Kilda is hosting the epic Meat Feud carne-val (formerly known as Meatopia) — a mad, meaty mother of a competition!

A festival all about devouring the juiciest, richest and meatiest meals, Meat Feud will showcase some prime-quality cuts from Middle Park Hotel, Meatball & Wine Bar, Fancy Hank’s BBQ, Newmarket Hotel, Peter Bouchier and Gelato Messina. Hold up—Gelato Messina? Yep, you heard right, meat-lovers. Don’t spit the dummy yet. Just wait till you try their bacon ice cream.

Mmm. Bacon.

Each of these Melbourne favourites will be grilling up one super-special meat dish. The rowdy, slavering and scintillated public (you… and us, who are we kidding!) will vote on the best dishes to determine who takes home the people’s choice Top Cut trophy at Meat Feud.

Apologies, vegos. But clear out, for your own benefit you understand! This day is all about meat, meat, and maybe (definitely) more meat!

Drinks will be provided by Mitchelton Wines, Chandon and Little Creatures, to complement and promote your appetite for more meat eating!

So, let your inner carnivore out, Listers. Get your fingers dirty and enjoy some highly refined caveman style dining at Meat Feud!
