If you’re a gin lover, and I know many of you are, get ready to sip on some tasty cocktails paired with the most exquisite food because Bombay Sapphire’s Project Botanicals pop-up is back!
Missed the pop-up cocktail bar the first time around? Well, you’re in luck. Project Botanicals will be taking over a venue on Sutton Street, North Melbourne, for three weeks only, showcasing the newly launched Star of Bombay gin alongside some incredible foodie creations.
Starting on Wednesday 24th June, the pop-up will feature no less than TEN different cocktail and tapas pairings devised by top chef Gary Mehigan (yup, the MasterChef judge) and a host of Melbourne’s best bartenders. Each of the pairings will focus on one botanical ingredient—including everything from juniper to liquorice—using it in both the tasty morsels and delicious drinks you’ll be served.
While a $45 ticket gets you two pairings, you’ll also be able to add extras to your menu for only $12 each. And with duos like a lemon twist on the Tom Collins served with gin-cured king fish, and a juniper-infused G&T that comes with blue swimmer crab, we’d advise arriving both hungry and thirsty.
Last year’s Project Botanicals was a sell-out, so if you like what you’re reading, you’d better be quick to book your ticket. We’ll see you at the bar, folks!
