CIRQUE AFRICA OPENS
Cirque Africa has rounded up the continent’s biggest, brightest and best circus acts and they’re heading to Melbourne! Opening this Wednesday, 38 artists, acrobats and contortionists will dazzle you with amazing acrobatic and juggling feats and a host of entertaining numbers. You can get tickets through Ticketek. Bombay Sapphire’s pop-up bar ‘Project Botanicals’ is back for 2015 and it’s set to be a ginstronomical delight. Open for three weeks from the 24th of June, $45 will get you a refreshed menu of 10 botanically inspired Bombay Sapphire cocktails with 10 matching tapas style dishes designed by chef Gary Mehigan. FRIDAY FRIGHT NIGHT AT LIDO CINEMA
For all you horror aficionados, Hawthorn’s newly opened Lido Cinemas has sorted your end-of-week entertainment. Lido is teaming up with Monster Fest to host Friday Fright Night, showcasing the latest and greatest in horror cinema. This Friday they’ll be kicking things off and jumping straight in the deep end with the Victorian premiere of The Human Centipede III. All the info you could need is here.
TULLY LOU + KX CYCLE SPINFLOW
Torn between the cardio workout of a spin class and the relaxation of yoga? Tully Lou and KX Cycle have come to the rescue with Spinflow, folks. This Saturday, sweat it out on the bike for 45 minutes and then balance it with 45 minutes of yoga at KX Cycle in Richmond. You’ll be rewarded with delicious snacks and an epic gift bag.
