Ex-stock, end of line and sample sofas, dining tables, chairs and accessories must be sold to someone, and that someone is hopefully you! New sale items arrive daily, so check back in if you’re hunting for cosy winter furniture. Want to be super-sale prepared? Check out their website here.

New Shanghai’s free pork bun birthday giveaway is almost too good to be true! Simply visit New Shanghai’s Emporium restaurant between 11am and 12pm, and an award winning pork bun will be allllllll yours. If you simply can’t get enough of them, why not stop by for lunch and dinner? You’ll be given another free dose of pork deliciousness for every person who dines!

One of Melbourne’s most popular fashion brands, Cheap Monday, is having a cheap cheap sale this Thursday! Despite the name this label offers some of the best quality staple items in this fine city, and until Sunday you’ll have special access to slashed prices on sample sale items. Also herding up big names Libertine-Libertine, Zoe Karssen and Natural Selection Denim, prices start as low as $5. Get in quick, the good stuff won’t last long.

Friday 12

Calling all DJs, DJs lovers, beat lovers, hip hop-ers and jazz hand haters. Get ready for one of Melbourne biggest DJ events of the year. London-based artist Kutmah is coming to our little city for one night only to share his musical skills. Head to Melbourne favourite Little & Olver this Friday for all the beats you’ll need this year.

RAW’s newest showcase of the best emerging artists across Australia is on this Friday at The Melbourne Pavilion! Splendour is set to boast the best up-and-comers across music, fashion, hair, makeup, art and photography. So, if you’re planning to get ahead of the crowd this year don’t miss this spectacular event.

DARK MOFO

We’ve waited ever-so patiently for one of Australia’s biggest events of the year to return. Finally, Dark MOFO is back in Tasmania from the 12th of June until the 22nd. Bringing the world’s best emerging talent together in one massively loud, tremendously cold occasion, some of MOFO’s most in-demand tickets have already sold out. You better get booking here.

Saturday 13

Get on board with this year’s World Gin Day Listers! That’s right, this Saturday around every corner of the globe (in their respective time zones, duh) cocktail-lovers will be downing gin in the name of festivity and celebration. We like the sound of that. To find your participating local gin-serving bar, check out the World Gin Day website. It can’t get more official than this.

Quality wine-enthusiasts, this is the game for you. This Saturday at the St Kilda Town Hall you’ll have the opportunity to access Australia and New Zealand’s best classic wine varieties, inspired by the Rhone Valley in France. Taste and choose your favourite style and region to vote for the best wine of the season at this Game of Rhones. There can only be one winner at this exclusive event.

Sunday 14

This Sunday is the last night to check out the biggest burlesque event of the year! The Melbourne Burlesque Festival is closing up in its fourth and final show, Baby Bombshells. There are still a few tickets left so if your Sunday night is looking mighty bland this is the perfect event to spice things uupp! Supporting emerging artists with less than two years of experience, this is great chance to experience burlesque for first-timers. Check out the details here.

As part of MWFW’s Roast Collection, Melbourne favourite Bomba is hosting a duck-centred menu this Sunday, yum! This is your last chance to get some Spanish duckie in your tummy, so if you’re looking for a delectably warm Sunday brunch spot we cannot recommend this event highly enough. Bomba’s free-range ducks from Great Ocean Ducks will be rolled in chestnut, prune stuffing and finished with a Pedro Ximénez jus. Stop drooling and book your tickets via email or phone. To celebrate the Melbourne Food and Wine Roast Collection, newly opened hotspot Arbory Bar is generously putting some of the best pork in Melbourne on your tasty fork! The seasonal menu, named Put Victoria On Your Table, will hero different pork cuts throughout this month. Running daily from 12pm-9.30pm, Arbory invites you to enjoy the featured dish with a glass of Tarra Warra Pinot Noir for just $25. Find more details on the website.
