Want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city but still be in the thick of it? Well get excited for Club Aperol at Fatto! Touted as the coolest place to spend the hot summer, this initiative will see Fatto’s Southbank river terrace transformed into an Italian country club where you can play Bocce, dance to some DJs and sip Aperol Spritz into the night. We’re pretty stoked for the Italian-inspired menu, too!

The Coburg Drive-In Food Truck Festival is back, Listers! Village Cinemas will be screening Horrible Bosses 2, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, and Exodus: Gods and Kings, tonight and tomorrow. The best bit is the food trucks, though. Ooh yeah, love a good food truck! There will be eight trucks each night, yet to be confirmed. Whether it be snags, burgers, tacos or fro-yo on offer, we’re pretty stoked either way!

Street Store has come to Melbourne! This community-driven event is aimed at educating people about Melbourne’s homeless community, and creating an enriching experience of engagement. Free is Better. TM have teamed up with GiDi CREATIVE and Homeless of Melbourne, to create a pop-up store for homeless individuals to choose items they need from a range of donated goods. With clothes, food vouchers, barber grooming services, and a chance for guests to purchase $5 food vouchers from Mr Burger to donate to someone in need, this is a great initiative where anyone can get involved in giving back to the community.
If you want to get on board, bring down some of your own clothes to donate on the day, or beforehand to the Free Is Better office at 221 Kerr Street, Fitzroy from 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday. Get involved Melburnians, and help those in need during a time that is meant to be all about giving!
