Famed chef Patrizia Simone (Simone's Restaurant) is tonight's special guest chef at Enoteca Sileno, promising a magical evening of Umbrian food and wine. Together with Enoteca's Head Chef, Antony Campbell, Patrizia will be cooking a special four-course menu featuring dishes from her celebrated cookbook, My Umbrian Kitchen.

Next Thursday (3rd April) you'll be heading to the grand opening of New Gold Mountain's pop-up series to sip champagne cocktails (made with Perrier Jouet, ooh la la!) and sample delicious blintzes made by ex-Rice Queen head chef Jabil Mchawala. The Melbourne International Comedy Festival kicked off yesterday, so it's time to get your booty into gear and check out one of the many hilarious shows on offer! Madames et monsieurs, it's time to get le excited! Le Grand Cirque, Manu Feildel's first Melbourne restaurant (in partnership with MAdE Establishment), is opening this Friday in South Yarra. Bánh mì devotees, listen up! Ba'get, a food store devoted to the humble Vietnamese roll, is opening its Russell Street doors this Friday! Owner Duy Huynh comes from a long line of traditional bánh mì vendors, with his parents having owned and operated the renowned Sunshine's Fresh Chilli Deli for over 25 years. Along with their glorious bánh mì rolls, they also offer vermicelli bowls, hot and flaky pork puffs and Vietnamese sesame donuts, as well as potent quantities of traditional Vietnamese coffee stained with condensed milk. More than 80 artists will take to the streets of the Chapel Street Precinct as part of ART-Town this Saturday and Sunday. Spend a day wandering through the ART-Town live art hubs – Chapel Street South Yarra, Prahran and Windsor, Greville Village and Gardens, and Chapel off Chapel forecourt and surrounds – to catch the artists and watch the creative process unfold. This weekend, Joe's Bar and Dining Hall is hosting two epic days of brisket, beers and bourbon with their Taste Of The South event. The Vintage Shed will be bringing their amazing old school haul to the Queen Victoria Market this Sunday! Stallholders will be mixing the old with the new, with a wide range of antiques, knick-knacks, retro pieces, reproductions, hand-created and pre-loved furniture, clothes and kitchenware up for grabs.
