Well that escalated quickly. Due to some crazy high demand, the Melbourne run of the Broadway hit Bring It On musical has been extended. In fact, The Athenaeum has just added three new shows.

Friday and Saturday performances on 8, 9, 14 and 15 are all sold out, but you can still get tickets to the new dates: Friday 22 June (7:30pm) and Saturday 23 June (2pm & 7:30pm)

If you’ve seen the original movie you’ll know the basic plot (and if you haven’t, just imagine Kirsten Dunst as a cheerleader and a lot of finger clicking and ‘Oh no she di’n’t!’). The musical follows the same basic formula, except it’s been given the Broadway treatment by Tony Award-winning Jeff Whitty and Lin-Manuel (from Hamilton)

You’re gonna have to be quick to grab the tickets. Check out the website for all the info.

Brrr! It’s cold in here.

The Details
