As the evenings get warmer and lighter, nothing screams summer like watching a movie under the stars.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic spot to snuggle up with that new summer fling or are after the ultimate hangout with your girl squad (who cares if you already know Grease word by word) – Movies in Parks have got you covered during these warmer months.
From January till March various parks around Auckland will be hosting outdoor cinemas. You’ll be able to relive your childhood with some of the classics like Mary Poppins or catch up on the blockbusters you missed from twenty sixteen (Jungle Book). The movies kick off between 7.30 and 8.00 with lots of pre movie activities to keep you entertained from 6pm.
So, grab a blanket or two, wrap up warm, bring some popcorn and catch a free flick on a balmy summer’s eve.
